April 30 - (April Round) Notification letters are sent informing you if you will or will not be receiving a tuition scholarship. Students who are in preschool/junior kindergarten or who did not submit a complete application will not receive a letter from the AEF.
August 1 - (August Round) Scholarships that were forfeited by the April Round recipients will be awarded and recipients notified by mail.
September 30 - (Distribution) Tuition Scholarship checks are sent to schools for credit to student’s tuition account. Check your child’s tuition account at the end of October to ensure the scholarship has posted.
Q: Who is eligible for a scholarship? All students (grades K-12) who will attend a Hawaii Catholic School during the upcoming school year. A student does not have to be currently enrolled to apply for a scholarship, but you do need to be officially enrolled at the time the scholarship is awarded. A new application is required every year, regardless if you have received a scholarship in the past.
Q: What is the deadline? Only completed applications submitted with all required supporting documents and payment will be considered. The deadline for submitting your application, all required documents and fee is Monday, March 6, 2017.
Q: Did you already submit your application to TADS through your school or another program for the 2017-2018 school year? You will need to update your application to include the Augustine Educational Foundation’s Tuition Scholarship Program (AEF Tuition Scholarship Program) and any additional schools/scholarship programs.

Q: What is the amount of the scholarships? Typical scholarship amounts are $1,000 (grades K-8) and $1,250 (grades 9-12).
